Vera Craig Award

 (For contribution to the club all aspects, on and off court - one person from either boys or girls) Vera was the warriors secretary from 1982 - 2004 and was a life member of Woodville Basketball and was also awarded BASA life membership for her services to Basketball. Vera lived and breathed Woodville Basketball, she knew every player, the team they were in and their playing number. The VC that is on our merchandise is worn with pride in Vera’s honour.

(Best Forward/Centre - boys) Craig played 257 senior games his impressive stats are, 1998 BASA defensive player of the year, 2000 Championship Captain, Runner up Woollcott Medal 1997 & 2000, multiple men’s MVP and best and fairest awards. Captain of the Woodville men’s Team of the Century. Craig went on to become the Woodville President from 2015-2019 during this time he fought for the new development of St Clair and was instrumental with the commencement of the Aboriginal Basketball Academy

Jason Bray Award

(Best Guard/Forward - boys) Jason was a Woodville junior who went on to play 350+ senior games earning him BASA life membership and is the first and only Woodville indigenous player to do so, Woodville life member, BASA top assist 1997, 2000 Championship player, under 20 state championship MVP winner, top Woodville Woollcott votes 1994, member of the Woodville men’s team of the century. Jason coached Woodville juniors for 10years and was the under 18 state championship coach who also went on to win Melbourne classics and won BASA junior coach of the year in 1998.

 Most Promising Junior Boy. Woodville Junior, Paul won BASA best defensive player 2004, 2000 championship player, member of Woodville men’s team of the century. Paul was instrumental with the commencement of the Aboriginal Basketball Academy. Paul went on to play NBL for Canberra
